The Apostles Braai

The latest addition to the menu of culinary experiences on offer at The Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa is The Apostles Braai. Set amid lush indigenous gardens at the rear of the hotel, this beautiful light-filled events venue offers sea and sunset views, as well as vistas up to the rugged peaks in the Table Mountain National Park for which our hotel is named.

It’s a striking space of mirrored walls and picture windows letting natural light and panoramic views wash in. A handcrafted Murano glass chandelier hangs above and handblown Biot glassware from Provence graces the tables.

Breakfast At 12 Apostles Hotel

Breakfast is served al fresco on the ocean-facing terrace of Azure Restaurant daily. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the stunning Twelve Apostles mountain range, Executive Chef Christo Pretorius’ talented team serves an extensive selection of breakfast dishes made with locally sourced produce and seafood.

Locally smoked salmon and trout, charcuterie, fresh oysters, a cheese board and tempting viennoiserie are all on offer alongside a hearty cooked breakfast. Accompany your meal with a glass of sparkling Cap Classique, served chilled on its own or with freshly squeezed orange juice.

Tea by the Sea

Indulge in our modern take on this age-old tradition, with twice-daily High Tea available in either The Leopard Bar or The Conservatory. High Tea is served at the table, with a three-tier stand filled with sweet and savoury treats. Look forward to a delicious selection including dainty finger sandwiches, chocolate brownies, cream puffs, macarons, madeleines, and more. Of course, there is also the classic teatime treat: scones with jam and freshly whipped cream. 

High tea includes a bottomless selection of loose-leaf teas and speciality coffee, or indulge in our Moët & Chandon High Tea, served with a glass of Brut Imperial champagne.

Vegan High Tea

With the growing importance of plant-based cuisine, our talented pastry chefs have created a Vegan High Tea experience.

Guests can enjoy a tea-stand filled with a collection of vegan treats, including dairy-free scones, coconut panna cotta, banana and oat cookies, and avocado and hummus wraps.

Chef Gina’s inventive use of dairy substitutes is a revelation, even for non-vegans.

Monday to Sunday: 10am, 12.30pm and 3pm.

Blockbuster birthdays

Take the hassle out of birthday bashes, with our blockbuster birthdays. Children will enjoy a fun-filled lunchtime feast in The Café Grill, followed by a private movie screening in our state-of-the-art cinema, with popcorn, water and sweet treats included.

Bespoke packages are available for both younger children (8 – 12) and teenagers (13 and up).

Serendipity Sundays

Reconnect with friends and family over a long Sunday Lunch, enjoyed in the elegant setting of Azure Restaurant. Executive Chef Christo Pretorius adds a contemporary flourish to this traditional feast, complemented by live entertainment. Expect five-star service, fine cuisine and expert wine recommendations from our sommelier.

Lunch is served from 1pm – 3.30pm

‘Two flights’ lunch experience

The experience begins at the V&A Waterfront, as your private helicopter lifts off for an unforgettable heli-tour over Cape Town. Savour incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean, Robben Island and the sparkling beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay as you make your way to land at the private helipad at The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa. Here you’ll be escorted to the award-winning Azure Restaurant to indulge in a multi-course tasting menu, accompanied by a ‘flight’ of wines specially selected by our sommelier.
