Botswana Examinations Council JCE
Botswana Examinations Council JCE is held once a year (usually in October/November) and is designed for candidates who have completed three years of full-time secondary schooling or its equivalent. The Scheme of Examination makes provision for candidates who are studying through non-formal means, as well as those engaged in full-time education. There is no age limit for candidates.

JCE Registration Dates
The public is informed that registration for the 2022 JCE will start on 28 February 2022 until 3 I March 2022.The information regarding registration can be accessed through Malepa, the BEC website at www.bec.co.bw, BEC Facebook page (Botswana Examinations Council) andTwitter Account (@Bots_Exams).
PLEASE NOTE: I . All Botswana Open University (BOU) learners should register at their learning centres.
2.Those who wish to register as individual private candidates are to use online registration platform Malepa, (https://malepa.bec.co.bw) and make their payments through First National Bank.
3.The public is urged to read and familarise themselves with the JCE Registration instructions before registering and thoroughly check the details of their applications for registration before submitting.
4.Any syllabus entry amendments needed after the closing date will be liable to penalties.
