Chreso University Zambia is a Private owned medical and nursing School in the Lusaka Province in Zambia . Established in 2010, Chreso University is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Lusaka, Zambia. This institution also has a branch campus in Ndola.
Details Of Chreso University Bachelor Of Nursing
Chreso University Nursing Sciences Department was established in 2012 to contribute to the country’s health manpower in the education and health care setting. The Department offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSc. NRS) to both in-service and school leavers and the first graduates were in 2017. The graduates are deployed in different public and private health institutions and organizations serving as educators, managers, researchers and nurse clinicians.
The department is only offering specialties in Medical-Surgical Nursing; Community Health Nursing; Maternal, Child Health; Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, Maternal and Child Health; Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing is only majored by the In service students only.
DURATION OF PROGRAM
The expected duration of this program is 4 years when attended full time and 4 years plus under distance with each semester having a minimum of 22 weeks of learning
Admission Requirement For Chreso University Bachelor Of Nursing Intakes
Bachelors Degree Programs
- Full grade twelve certificate (English, Mathematics, Biology plus one Science and any other subject ) with credit or better.
- Completed A Levels
- Or an equivalent certified qualification at an equivalent standard
Postgraduate Degree Programs
- Equivalent health related qualification (Diploma of Clinical medical sciences, Diploma in Environmental Sciences, Diploma in Laboratory Sciences, and Diploma in Dentistry, Ophthalmology and Diploma in Social Work, Diploma in counselling)
- Or an equivalent certified qualification at an equivalent standard.
Masters Degree Programs
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field (Nursing, Social work, Clinical Medicine etc.)
- Or an equivalent certified qualification at an equivalent standard.
