Entry requirements for a Undergraduate degree Programme
Either five ‘O’ levels as follows: English Language and any four subjects from the following: History, Geography, French, Literature in English, Mathematics, a Zambian Language, Civic Education, Religious Education, Wood Work, Metal Work, Geometric and Mechanical Drawing, Home Economics, Art and Design, Computer Studies, , Commerce, Additional Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and any other acceptable subject.
Entry requirements for a Postgraduate degree Programme.
A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.
Entry requirements for a Masters degree Programme
(a) For admission to the Master’s Degree of a candidate shall either hold an honours degree of the or a qualification from an
approved institution of higher learning, deemed to be equivalent
to an honours degree of the ChaU University.
(b) Candidates who hold unclassified degrees should have a credit
or, a distinction in the subject of the intended Master’s Degree.
In addition to the academic requirements, applicants must also meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 17 years old on the date of entry.
- Be physically and mentally fit to undergo university studies.
- Obtain a police clearance certificate.
- Undergo a medical examination.
- Provide proof of vaccination against certain diseases.
If you meet the entry requirements, you can apply for CBU intakes by following these steps:
- Visit the CBU website and download the application form.
- Complete the application form and submit it to the CBU admissions office along with the required supporting documents.
- If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to attend an interview.
- After the interview, the CBU admissions office will notify you of their decision.
The deadline for applications for the January 2024 intake at CBU is November 30, 2023.
