The Zim-Moz programme started in 2014 and since then about 113 students have came from the different provinces of Mozambique for a 2weeks short course in English for Communication Skills, cultural exchange and sporting activities. Students were drawn from University of Pedagogics’s institutions in Beira, Quelimane and Manica provinces, while others were from The Institute of Languages in Beira. All the students who came to Mutare Teachers’ College successfully completed the course and were issued with certificates.
The college has the following courses on offer to Pedagogic University, Beira Branch, Mozambique.

COURSE 1: Natural Science laboratory management: Chemistry, Biology, And Physics
COURSE 2: Technical Vocational Education Training : Wood Technology
Textile technology, Art and Design
COURSE 3: Eco- tourism and Tourism
COURSE 4: Community Development
COURSE 5: English for Academic Purpose.
