GES Releases Academic Calendar For SHS 2023/2024 for both Single and Double track schools . All first-year students are warmly welcomed by the management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) as classes begin on Monday, February 7, 2022.
Some schools will implement a double-track calendar for first-year students in accordance with the new academic calendar. The administration of the various institutions will tell students of their distinct paths while on campus, despite the fact that they are all reopening simultaneously. The list of double-track schools will eventually be posted on the Ghana Education Service’s official website (www.ges.gov.gh).

SINGLE TRACK CALENDAR
It must be noted that not all schools will run double track. In light of this, the single-track schools will observe the following calendar for the years:
First Semester
Form 3 – 10th January to 5th April 2023
Form 2 – 10th January to 5th April 2023
Form 1 – 20th February to 5th April 2023
2nd Semester
Form 3 – 17th April to 1st June 2023
Form 2 – 17th April to 25th August 2023
Form 1 – 17th February to 15th September 2023
3rd Semester
Form 3 – 9th June – 15th September 2023
Single Track Vacation Dates
First Semester
Form 3 – 6th April, 2023 to 16th April, 2023
