Ghana Immigration Service Entry Requirement

The Ghana Immigration service (GIS) invites job applications from suitably qualified Ghanaians for enlistment into the service.
Qualification Required And competences
All candidates are to satisfy the following requirements

1. GRADUATE ENTRY

• Must be a Ghanaian citizen by birth with no criminal record.
• Must posses a first degree not below a second class lower in social sciences/Humanities from an accredited university.
• Must have completed his/her national service
• Must be computer literate
• Must be of minimum age of 21 and not more than 28 years by 31st December
• Mus be physically and mentally fit.
• Must be of good character.
• Must not be bonded.
• Must have a minimum height of 1.73 meters (5ft 8inch) for males and 1.63 meters (5ft 4 inch) for females.

1. NON GRADUATE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (RECRUITS)

• Must be a Ghanaian citizen by birth with no criminal record.
• Must hold SSSCE/WASSCE certificate with five (5) credits including English Language and a pass in mathematics.
• Must be of minimum age of 18 and not more than 26 years by 31st December
• Mus be physically and mentally fit.
• Must be of good character.
• Must not be bonded.
• Must have a minimum height of 1.73 meters (5ft 8inch) for males and 1.63 meters (5ft 4 inch) for females.
