Application Requirements

To be eligible to apply for GSU, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must have a minimum of five ‘O’ level passes, including English language, with a grade C or better.
• You must have passed the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) Advanced Level (A’ level) examinations in two subjects, including one relevant to your chosen degree program.
• You must meet the specific entry requirements for your chosen degree program.

In addition to the academic requirements, you may also need to submit the following supporting documents:

• Certified copies of your academic transcripts
• Certified copies of your O’ level and A’ level certificates (if applicable)
• Certified copy of your National Registration Card (NRC) or passport
• Two passport-sized photographs
• English language test scores (if applicable)
• Letter of recommendation (if applicable)
• Research proposal (if applicable)

Gwanda State University Intakes Online Application 2024–2025

To apply for Gwanda State University (GSU) intakes online, follow these steps:

1. Visit the GSU website: Go to the GSU website at https://www.gsu.ac.zw/ and click on the “Apply Online” tab.
2. Create an account: If you haven’t already done so, create an account by entering your personal information and creating a password.
3. Fill out the online application form: Complete the online application form carefully, providing accurate and up-to-date information.
4. Upload supporting documents: Upload scanned copies of your required supporting documents, such as your academic transcripts, O’ level and A’ level certificates (if applicable), National Registration Card (NRC) or passport, passport-sized photographs, English language test scores (if applicable), letter of recommendation (if applicable), and research proposal (if applicable).
5. Pay the application fee: Pay the application fee of ZW$100 using a credit or debit card through the online payment portal.
6. Submit the application: Once you have completed the application form, uploaded the required documents, and paid the application fee, submit your application electronically.
7. Await notification: You will receive an email notification once your application has been processed and reviewed. The GSU Admissions Office will inform you of their decision regarding your application.
