2024-2025 GZU Admission Form Requirement
The admission requirements for Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) vary depending on the program you are applying to. However, in general, the following requirements apply:
- Academic requirements: You must have a minimum of five ‘O’ level passes including English language with a grade C or better. Continuing Block A pass at ‘A’ level shall be an added advantage.
- English language requirements: If you are not a native English speaker, you will need to demonstrate your English language proficiency by submitting a TOEFL or IELTS score. The minimum TOEFL score required is 550 (paper-based) or 79 (internet-based). The minimum IELTS score required is 6.0.
- Other requirements: You may also need to submit additional documents, such as a letter of recommendation or a research proposal, depending on the program you are applying to.
GZU Intakes Online Application 2024-2025
To apply to GZU online, follow these steps:
- Go to the GZU website at https://www.gzu.ac.zw/ and click on the “Apply Online” tab.
- Create an account and fill out the online application form.
- Upload scanned copies of your supporting documents, such as your Grade 12 results or diploma/certificate, and your National Registration Card (NRC) or passport.
- Pay the application fee.
Once you have submitted your application, you will be contacted by the GZU Admissions Office for an interview. If you are accepted to GZU, you will need to pay the tuition fees and register for classes.
GZU Application Fee For Intakes
The application fee for Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) intakes is ZW$1000 for all intakes. This includes both the March and August intakes.
The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid in full before your application can be processed. You can pay the application fee online using a credit or debit card or in person at the GZU Admissions Office.
If you are applying to GZU from outside of Zimbabwe, you will need to pay the application fee in US dollars. The application fee for international students is US$20.
