In the first phase, Heliopolis University (HU) offers three faculties- all of which play an essential role in sustainable development: new models in business and economics, innovative engineering solutions and comprehensive health care. Our way of teaching is geared towards an advanced dynamic curriculum, developed together with international partners. Prominent faculty members, small student numbers, modern teaching methods and student exchange programs create an optimal learning environment and ensure a high standard of education. All degree programs are accredited and bases on the credit hour system, easily transferable into European credit transfer system (ECTS), which allows for international mobility.

Admission steps

Online Application:
To start your studies at Heliopolis University in 2015, Register using the online admission form, attach the required documents, and bring them to the Admissions Office located on the Heliopolis University premises.
HU Admission test:
English examinations date and place will be announced to the students when they come to the university. The examination includes a one hour, divided into three sections: Reading comprehensive, Listening Comprehensive and language work.
Then the student will have an interview with the dean of the faculty (Please be on time).
On the date of the Admission test;

  • Make sure that you are on campus at least an hour earlier than your exam time in order to complete  registration process
  • One parent only is allowed to accompany you on the day of the exam
  • Please make sure to bring the following on the exam day: pencil, rubber, and any identification card.
  • You will be able to change the date of the exam 2 days after and 2 days before the exam

The student should head to the Admission Office upon arrival and bring the following documents with him/her:

  • Copy/original of birth certificate
  • Student’s ID card or passport
  • Copy of legal guardian’s ID or passport
  • Test fees 500 LE nonrefundable.
  • Copy of final High school certificate ( if available )
  • 6 passport photos

Certificate evaluation, study and categories

The accepted student must get the original certificates of their high school result and birth certificate and to know which category of their scholarship they got.
The original documents of the students are required for final approval by the Council for Private Universities Ministry of Higher Education.
If any student didn’t complete his/her documents it will be considered as an incomplete file and will not be able to register the courses at the beginning of the semester.

Payment Procedures

When the Student knows his/her final result, the student should pay administrative fees , 1st installment, and the English course (if the student has a low score) to be considered as an official student.

Issue of Student ID and the email account

Students will take their IDs and their Email accounts in the beginning of the semester
These students can take their IDs and Email accounts after:

  • Succeed in the placement test
  • Accepted in the interview
  • Submitted all the requirement papers
  • Paid the administrative fees, 1st installment  and the English course (for those who have a low score)

Placement test:

Placement test is obligatory to all the applicants to have and it considered as an important condition to be accepted within the university. According to the score the applicant got it will determines the level that the student will access.
