How To Change your SLTF Reference Number NOW

Borrowers of the Students Loan Trust Fund are advised to change their SSNIT reference numbers to substantive SSNIT numbers in order to receive their second year loans.

To expedite loan processing, SLTF allows students to use SSNIT reference numbers to apply for a loan the first time round. However, to continue to receive the loan after the first year, applicants who used SSNIT reference numbers for their applications MUST change to substantive SSNIT numbers.

All students in second year and above who received loan disbursement in the previous year but have not been paid in the current academic year should ensure that they have completed and submitted a reference number amendment form to their zonal/campus offices.
