Kings University College Courses Offered


The Kings University College has one school and two faculties:

1. KINGS BUSINESS SCHOOL

The Kings Business School offers the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSc Admin) programme with following specialisations:


Accounting
Human Resource Management
Banking and finance
Marketing

Further the Kings Business School offers the Master of Business Administration (MBA) in the following specialisations:


• Accounting 
• Human Resource Management
• Banking and Finance
• Marketing
• Strategic Management
• Risk Management

The Kings Business School programmes are affiliated to the University of Cape Coast.

2. FACULTY OF LAW, GOVERNANCE AND INTERNATIONAL. RELATIONS
The Kings University College Faculty of Law, Governance and International relations offers the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) programme in partnership with the University of CapeCoast
Our students will be awarded the LL.B degree by the University of  CapeCoast on completion of their studies. 

3. FACULTY OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING
The faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology offers the following programmes:
 

  • B.Sc. Information and Communication Technology
  • B.Sc. Computer Science

The Faculty of Computer Science and information Technology is affiliated to the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

Admissions  Requirements for Faculty of Law Governance & International Relations

Admission to the Kings faculty of Law Governance & International Relations is at Level 100 by means of:

1.      Senior High School Certificate Examination (SSSCE/ WASSCE/ NECO)

2.      GCE “O”Level or “A”Level

3.      Mature Students Examination

4.      Part Qualified Professional Certificates

5.      Tertiary Level Diplomas

6.      HND


SSSCE/WASSCE / NECO CERTIFICATE HOLDERS
Applicants must have:

  • C/C4 in English Language
  • C/C6 or better in two other core subjects including Mathematics
  • C/C6 or better in three Elective Subjects

GCE “O” Level or “A” Level HOLDERS

  • Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English language, Mathematics and a Science Subject in West African Examinations Council (WAEC) G.C.E ‘O Level or School Certificate Examinations
  • Two (2) passes (at least C) at the GCE Advanced Level excluding General Paper. 

Admissions  Requirements for Faculty of Business Administration

Admission Requirements for Business Administration is at Level 100 by means of:

Admission Requirements for Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology Programmes

There are four entry routes:

  1. G.C.E. “O” Level, G.C.E. “A” Level
  2. SSSCE, WASSCE
  3. HND Computer Science and Information Technology Certificate holders
  4. MATURE STUDENTS

G.C.E. “O” Level: 
The candidate must have credit passes (1-6) in six (6) subjects including English Language, Mathematics , Science and three other subjects.

G.C.E. “A” Level: 
The candidate must have passes(A-D) in two (2) subjects excluding general paper.

SSSCE, WASSCE: 
The candidate must have credit passes (A-D; A1-C6) in three core subjects including Mathematics, English Language , Integrated Science and three Elective subjects including Additional Mathematics.

HND (from recognized tertiary institutions): 
The candidate must have credit passes in Mathematics and English Language. The HND must be at least a second class lower.

STUDENT VISA FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
The Kings University College shall process students’ VISA applications for all foreign students on 
successful admission and full payment of first year’s school fees.

Foreign students shall obtain police report to support their applications for student’s VISA.
