KNUST Students Win 5th National ARSO Essay Competiton 2018

Three students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) have emerged winners of the 5th ARSO Essay Competition organised by the Ghana Standards Authority on the Topic: “Role of Quality Infrastructure and Standardisation in Facilitating Trade and Sustainable Development Within the African Continental Free Trade Area”.
Emmanuel Younge, second year student offering BSc. Biological Science emerged winner, followed by Sampson Dwomoh, a fourth year BSc. Actuarial Science student who won the second position and Mbamba Crispin Rakibu, a third year student offering  BA. Social Work who won the third position in the competition.
In a statement signed by Professor Alex Dodoo, Director General of the Ghana Standards Authority, he informed management of the success of the KNUST students in their participation in the noble competition.
“Prof. Dodoo stated”We congratulate the three students for these outstanding achievements and urge them to keep up the good work. We hope that you will continue to encourage your students to participate in all our future competitions.”
The Registrar of the University has written to congratulate the students on their success achieved.
