In the 2020 KCSE, Education CS George Magoha indicated that all 747,171 students would be enrolled to higher education, tertiary institutions through KUCCPS.
A total of 893 candidates, representing 0.12 per cent, scored a mean grade of (A), and 6,420 candidates got A- (minus). A total of 7313 candidates scored A- (minus) and above.
Magoha also announced that a total of 143,140 candidates scored a C+ and above and were eligible for direct admission into universities.
CS Magoha notes that who scored lower than C+ (plus), about 143,140 candidates, are eligible to join Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVETs).
