Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST) Offers various long term courses at the levels of Certificates, Diploma and Bachelor in Engineering, Architecture, Sciences, Technology and Business Administration. Also the University Offers Postgraduate Diploma in Technical Education, Postgraduate Degree in Master of Science in Civil Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering (PhD) for qualified Tanzanian and Non Tanzanian candidates for admission

At all levels, the delivery modes are full time and evening programmes, this aims of taking care of Government sponsored students, Private sponsored students and self-employed working class. Apart from offering long term courses, Mbeya University of Science and Technology offers short courses in the field of Architecture, Business Management, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Chinese Language.

Course duration is three (3) years for all Diploma Programmes. For Bachelor Degree in Business Administration Programme, the duration is Three (3) Years. For Bachelor degree in Engineering Programme the duration of the course is Four (4) Years for Form Six leavers (ACSEE), Four (4) Years for Diploma who are changing field of study and three (3) Years for Diploma holder (FTC/NTA Level 6) who are continuing in the same field of study.

The Diploma and Degree issued by the University are recognized internationally, with graduates progressing to Master’s and Doctoral programmes and the key position across the region.
