• Applications for the following year will open in May/June of each year; closing date is end of August.
• Applications for the second semester will open in March/April of each year; closing date is end of May. Please note only selected programmes have a second semester intake.

How do I apply for CUT?

This page will guide you in the process to complete and submit your application to the Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT) online. Follow all the instructions carefully.

CUT ONLINE APPLICATION GUIDE

1 . Log onto https://enroll.cut.ac.za

2 . Start by clicking on new application on the left. Fill in Biographical detail in CAPITAL LETTERS , e – mail in small caps , ENSURE YOU INDICATE YOUR CORRECT MATRIC TYPE (SC currently in matric , C – passed matric with a Certificate , D – passed matric with a Diploma , B – passed matric with a Bachelor , 01 – Passed matric with exemption , 03- did not pass matric with exemption ). Save .

3 . Write student number down as displayed in first paragraph. Enter a pin number and repeat. Click on Create pin. Write down the pin number.

4 . Click on application at the menu on the left.

Follow these 10 steps below to complete CUT Online Application 2021

STEP 1 : Click on ” I agree “. Then click on next step.

STEP 2 : Verify if personal information is correct. Edit if needed and Save. Click on next step.

STEP 3 : Enter address details and Save. Account and Next of kin address. Click on next step.

STEP 4 : Enter contact details. Click on new record in order to capture home telephone , next of kin cellphone. Save. Click on next step.

STEP 5 : Click on the grey box in the middle and search for school attended. Capture period in high school from to end date. Save. Click on next step.

STEP 6 : Information regarding matric types will appear. Click on Continue. Change matric type accordingly. Choose matric subjects from the grey box. Ensure that it is the correct subject. Change Grade to Higher ), Standard ) or G for new matric. Enter level of results , whether pre – final , mid – final or final when already matriculated. Save. Click on Load / View Documents to download your proof of payment if applying off campus , certified copy of ID and school report or Senior Certificate and other qualifications. Click on next step.

STEP 7 : Enter previous qualification if applicable. Save. Click on next step.

STEP 8 : Enter disabilities if applicable. Save. Click on next step.

STEP 9 : Enter programme you want to apply for and search. Ensure that you choose the appropriate code. Save. Click on next step.

STEP 10 : Proceed to pay your application fee at the CUT Cashiers if applying on campus and go back to online venue to complete your application.

STEP 11 : Click on Accept Application. Your application has been accepted will be displayed.

How do I pay my application fee at cut?

Prospective students (national, international), current students, and Alumni of CUT who wish to make a payment on their student account.

1. The no-hassle no-fuss way.
2. Send your proof of payment to: proofofpayments@cut.ac.za.
3. No cash will be handled by CUT cashiers during the registration period.
