Does DUT have online application?

You can apply to DUT through the CAO application portal. All prospective students will be able to apply through this system. This institution requires you to write a National Benchmark test (NBT) as part of your application.

How do I apply for DUT for 2022?

Application must be made via the application forms (obtainable from the International School Office or download it from the website: www.dut.ac.za), and a non-refundable application fee must accompany all applications. The early bird closing date for applications is February 22; late closing date is April 25.

Things to note before applying online to DUT:

  1. You’ll need an email address to complete the application. Don’t have one? Get an email address first.
  2. South African applicants will need an ID number.  Foreign applicants will need their passport number.
  3. You will need to have registered for the NBTs before applying online.
  4. You will need to pay an application fee.
  5. Need accommodation?  Make sure you mark this on your application form.
  6. Remember to check faculty-specific requirements before applying.
  7. Please note: Postgraduate applicants can only apply online.

What is the deadline for DUT Online forms?

The 2022/2023 DUT Online Application Closing date has been scheduled as follows:-

  • Applications to study at DUT closes on the 30th of November 2021, however, some programmes may have earlier closing dates (end of September 2021), no late applications either online or via walk-ins will be accepted. Prospective students who haven’t secured a place at a tertiary institution in 2020 and wish to continue to try, can make use of the Department of Higher Education and Training’s (DHET) Central Application Clearing House (CACH), which can be accessed by sending a standard-rate SMS indicating your name and ID number to 49200, or by visiting https://cach.dhet.gov.za/Applicant/UsingCACH.
