John Dumelo is a Ghanaian actor, farmer and politician. On 1 April 2014 he emerged as the first Ghanaian to hit a million likes on Facebook. His parents are Mr. John Dumelo who was a Civil Engineer and Mrs. Antoinette Dumelo a Customs Officer

He attended Achimota School was part of the Drama Club and also won the Fliers Guy in Mo-TOWN prize. and further studied Civil Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He contested in “Mr University” won at KNUST. Later, he enrolled in GIMPA’s School of Public Service and Governance.[10] He started acting in the early 1990s in a 1991 movie called Baby Thief while he was attending Christ the King School and was paid 20 thousand old Ghana Cedis (currently 2 Ghana Cedis) at age 7 years.

John Dumelo is married to Gifty Mawunya Nkornu. He held a grand wedding at Royal Senchi Resort in Akosombo.The couple’s first child was born on 16 October 2018. He is named John Dumelo Jnr. after his father. He is currently The Richest Actor in Ghana with an estimated worth of $1.2 million.

Adjetey Anang

Adjetey Anang is a Ghanaian actor, popularly known as “Pusher”, which was his screen name in the television series Things We Do for Love. He is married to Elom Anang and they have a son. He has featured in many Ghanaian movies, including Deadly Voyage, A Sting in a Tale, The Perfect Picture and others.

Prince David Osei studied at Accra High School and proceeded to the University of Ghana, where he studied English, Sociology and Theatre Arts.

Kwadwo Nkansah

Kwadwo Nkansah professionally known as Lil Win, is a Ghanaian artist, musician, actor and comedian. Kwadwo Nkansah was born to Mr Kofi and Ama. He grew up with six other siblings in Kwaman in the Ashanti region. He is the founder of Great Minds International school in Kumasi, Ashanti Region of Ghana. Kwadwo completed Junior High school at Kenyasi Abrem in the Ashanti region but wasn’t able to further his education.

Joseph van Vicker, better known as Van Vicker, is a Ghanaian actor, movie director and humanitarian.He is the CEO of Sky + Orange production, a film production house.Van Vicker received two nominations for “Best Actor in a Leading Role” and “Best Upcoming Actor” at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2008. 

Vicker has been nominated for and won numerous awards from Africa to the Caribbean. Awards include Ghana Movie Awards, ACRAG awards and the Nollywood Academy Films Critics’ Awards. Majid Michel

Majid Michel is a Ghanaian actor, model, television personality, evangelism and a humanitarian. He received nominations for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2017. He eventually won the award in 2012 after three previous consecutive nominations .

Michel is one of the Ghanaian actors who got into the film industry during the period in which Frank Rajah Arase signed a contract with Ghana’s Abdul Salam Mumuni of Venus Films. The contract basically involved introducing Ghanaian actors into the mainstream Nollywood film industry and making them have a star power comparable to Nigerian actors. Films produced under this contract featured Michel include:

Chris Attoh is a Ghanaian actor, film director, on-air personality, television presenter and Producer. He is best known as “Kwame Mensah” in Nigerian soap opera Tinsel.

He attended the New York Film Academy, Achimota School and Accra Academy. At Accra Academy, his classmates included the media businessman and radio personality Nathan Adisi. He then moved on to KNUST where he studied for a Bachelor of Art in Painting degree. He later went to London to study Banking and Securities.

Micheal Blankson

Michael Blackson is a Liberian-American actor and comedian based in the United States.Michael Blackson was born on November 28, 1972 in Ghana. His father, Kwaku-Nsian Adom Bediako, stayed in Ghana while Blackson’s mother had custody of him and his sister. Bediako died in 2008. Blackson’s family moved to Liberia at some point, before relocating to Newark, New Jersey when he was 13, and then settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania when he was 15. He began pursuing comedy after his coworker at Domino’s suggested he start open mic.

Peter Mensah

Peter Mensah is a Ghanaian-British actor, best known for his roles in the films Tears of the Sun, Hidalgo, 300, and television series such as Starz’ Spartacus: Blood and Sand, Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, and Spartacus: Vengeance.

Mensah’s film credits include Avatar, 300, Hidalgo, Tears of the Sun, Jason X, Harvard Man, Bless the Child and The Incredible Hulk.
