Tanzania International University Admission 2020 – 2021

I wish to welcome both the staff and students (new and returning) to the serene and student friendly Gongo la Mboto campus of the Kampala International University in Tanzania for the new academic year 2019/2020. By grace of God and with the dedication of the Board of Trustees, the Council, the Management, Staff and Students we managed to address all challenges that led to the lifting of student admission ban that lasted for two consecutive academic years i.e. 2017/18 and 2018/19. The experience we have gone through has strengthened our resolve to deliver quality education for many years to come.

I wish to commend our staff for the job well-done in the last academic year despite the difficulties the University was going through, which saw some of you shouldering unprecedented heavy teaching loads. You persisted negative publicity and braved through your teaching without complaining, you had one mission in your minds to train our students to ensure that they were adequately trained.

I take this opportunity to congratulate the new students for joining our University, we are looking forward to offering you the best education and to ensure you realise your dreams. For the returning students, I congratulate you for your success in the last academic year’s examinations. You equally endured the harsh realities we were facing as KIUT community. Thank God that the storm is over, although the University will not be operating at its full capacity since we do not have students in the second and third year.
