2018 UDS/MoSaWR WASH SHORT COURSES
The future of action on WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) looks positive – with the post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals global agenda maintaining attention on the need for water, sanitation and hygiene for everyone, all the time. But the path to achieving this global agenda requires new ways of thinking. This new way of thinking requires that all WASH players (governments, private sectors, civil society, and academia) work together to ensure sustainable WASH is attained for everyone everywhere. The UDS WASH short courses have been developed to respond to a new way of thinking, and also respond to the needs of WASH practitioners, who need up-to-date trends in the sector to deliver quality and sustainable services. It is expected that this platform will offer regular knowledge updates with respect to sector practice and policy, and also conform to international standards. UDS, Navrongo Campus collaborates regularly with industry to deliver relevant and practical teaching that is firmly based on transformational research. Our engagement with industry is to ensure that the course contents are relevant and meet the expectations of employers.

WASH sector players (policy makers, WSMT members, DWST members, ESHO, NGOs in WASH, WASH Consultants and Contractors, WASH Service Providers, CONIWAS, MMDAs Planning Officers, MMDAs Coordinating Directors, and WASH Programme Managers) and any interested persons.
How to Apply
Short courses for 2018 will start from July 23, 2018 and end on August 18, 2018. Late registration will attract extra fees. Application Fees: GHC 150.00 late application: GHC180.00. Please note that application fees are non-refundable.

General Information
Courses are taught by faculty and leading experts in the fields of water, sanitation, hygiene and environment.
All costs are related to delivery of the course: this includes comprehensive course materials, snack and a professional certificate on completion.
UDS-Navrongo Campus reserves the right to cancel a course due to insufficient registrations or other conditions beyond its control. Notification of any such cancellation will be made as early as possible and yield a full refund.
A confirmation email will be sent to all participants 10 working days before the start of a course.
A CANCELLATION of registration in writing or by email, with less than 10 working days’ notice before a course, will not receive a refund. A cancellation with 10 or more working days’ notice before a course, will receive a refund minus an administration/registration fee.
Each WASH short course/participant attracts an administrative/registration fee of GHC150.00.
