UMaT Faculty of Integrated Management Science

he Faculty of Integrated Management Science (FIMS) has now become a reality having sprung from the Centre for Communication and Entrepreneurship Skills (CENCES) which was established in 2011 to serve as the nucleus of FIMS, the third faculty of the University.
With the metamorphosis of CENCES to become FIMS, two new academic departments have been established. These are Department of Technical Communication and Department of Management Studies.
The Department of Technical Communication (DTC) would run an undergraduate degree programme which is the Bachelor of Science in Technical Communication.
DTC also takes up the responsibility of running the One-Year Certificate Programme in English as well as the English Components of the 3-month Short Course for Fresh International Students.
The Department of Management Studies (DMS) would run two postgraduate programmes, namely Master of Business and Technology Management and Master of Engineering Management.
