The Institute for Distance and Continuing Education (IDCE) is located in the Tamale ‘B’ Campus at Choggu near the Tamale Technical University. The Distance Learning (DL) programme is the brain-child of the current Vice Chancellor, Prof. Gabriel A. Teye of the University for Development Studies (UDS). It was established in 2016 to provide quality tertiary education to Ghanaians who for many reasons cannot directly access the traditional campus based (face-to-face) learning.
