The Bachelor of Arts Business Studies, Banking and Finance programme provides specialist in-depth understanding of core areas in economics, banking and finance.
The programme prepares students to work in various roles in financial markets and institutions.
The BA Business Studies, Banking and Finance programme also provides a solid foundation for postgraduate study or further qualification with professional bodies e.g. Chartered Institute of Bankers.
Teaching methods: A variety of methods of instruction are used, including lectures and discussion, case studies and small group work. Assessment is through assignments, projects and exams.

Accreditation/Affiliation: The BA Business Studies, Banking and Finance programme is affiliated to the University of Cape Coast. All degree courses are accredited by Ghana’s National Accreditation Board (NAB).
Entry requirements:
1) WASSCE & SSSCE
Candidates must have six credits (A1-C6) in English, Mathematics and Integrated Science (Biology or Agricultural Science for Nigerian applicants) or Social Studies, and three elective subjects, making an aggregate of no more than 36. For SSSCE, candidates must have six credits (A-D) in the three Core Subjects and three electives, making an aggregate of no more than 24.
Candidates with less than five credits may be enrolled into a Certificate programme. Such candidates would have to improve their WASSCE results to qualify for admission into a Degree programme.
2) Mature Students
Candidates must be at least 25 years old and must write and pass an entrance examination in English, Mathematics, IT and General Business. They may also be required to attend an interview.
3) Others
Applicants with GCE, ICGSE, GBCE, ABCE, Baccalaureate, Professional Courses (ICA, ACCA, CIM etc) and HND, among others may contact us for levels of placement.
