Yohana Wavenza Health Institute Admission 2020 – 2021

Yohana Wavenza Health Institute (YWHI) is a Faith Based Organization (FBO) working under the guidance of the Board of Moravian Church in Tanzania south West province, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (training department) and regulated by the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council (TNMC) and NACTE.

Yohana Wavenza Health Institute (formerly called Moravian Nursing School) was officially opened on the 12^th September 2011. Its registration number is REG/HAS/114. The school was offering certificate in nursing (NTA Level 4 to 5). From 12^th June 2014 we were offered training up to Ordinary Diploma (NTA level 6) in nursing (Pre-Service), Community Health Technician (1year) in 2015 and Diploma (e-learning course 2years september2016)

CERTIFICATE IN COMMUNITY HEALTH TECHNICIAN

Admission to the programme will be open to candidates who have a minimum of certificate of Secondary education examination (CSEE) with passes in Biology –D or above and other 3 subjects or more.

CERTIFICATE IN NURSING

Admission to the programme will be open to candidates who have a minimum of certificate of Secondary education examination (CSEE) with three passes in science subjects; Physics-D Chemistry-C, Biology-C , pass in English language and Mathematics is an added advantage.

ORDINARY DIPLOMA IN NURSING (pre-service)

Admission to the programme will be open to candidates who have a minimum of certificate of Secondary education examination (CSEE) with passes Physics-D Chemistry-C, Biology-C.
