What courses are offered at David Livingstone College of Education?
1. Early Childhood Education (ECE) teaching
Requirement: A full grade twelve school certificate or GCE with at least 5 credits including English.
2. Junior Secondary School Teaching
A full grade twelve school certificate or GCE with at least 5 credits including English and at least a merit in the teaching subject.
N.B: Applicants with certificates not issued in Zambia need clearance from the examination council of Zambia.
Applicants should present themselves for interviews at the college with the following documents:
- Original and two photocopies of the national registration card (NRC)
- Original and two photocopies of grade twelve (12)/GCE certificates or statement of results.
The requirement needed to be enrolled in this programme is five credits, including English and mathematics. The enrolment is one hundred students every year. Applicants should not be less than seventeen (17) years and not more than thirty (35) years old.
