Damelin South Africa Admission Points Score For 2022/2023

To calculate your Damelin College APS, you will need to add your six best subject percentages.  Please note that this excludes Life Orientation.

Applicants will need to meet the minimum APS in order to be considered for a specific programme.  Generally, you get points for each matric subject you write an exam in.  The points you get for each course will depend on the percentage you score in that particular subject.

The APS is the total points you receive from each course. Results below 40% for any subject will not be counted in the APS.

Can I study at Damelin without matric? you can take Damelin bridging courses. What is a bridging course? It is a short-term course that allows you to re-sit your failed subjects so that you can upgrade your Matric marks.

DEGREE QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Business Management (HEQSF Aligned)

• A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Degree endorsement, or
• A National Certificate Vocational (NCV) at NQF Level 4 with Degree endorsement, or
• A Senior Certificate (SC), or Amended Senior Certificate (ASC), or
• An equivalent international school-leaving certificate / foreign secondary qualification on an NSC level, or
• Age Exemption (23 years or older):
  • At least five years post-secondary school experience in the field in which the student wants to study and
  • Proof of English language proficiency and
  • Senior Certificate or equivalent
• Mature age applicants, 45 years and older without a school leaving qualification, may apply for conditional exemption
• Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy and English at NQF level 4 or equivalent
• Foreign Students whose first language is not English, may be required to provide proof of proficiency in English prior to admission to the programme
