This course focuses on the education of specialist teachers for ECD classes. The ECD programme runs as a quasi independent programme with its own curriculum. However, there are also other curriculum areas that cut across the three courses offered at Masvingo Teachers’ College.
General
This course focuses on the education of primary school teachers for Grades one to seven. The graduates from the General Course have the requisite competencies and expertise to teach all the grades of the primary school save for ECD A and ECD B.

-Five (5) Ordinary Level passes with Grade C or better.
-The five O’ Levels should include a pass in English Language, Mathematics and any Science subject.
