About you
Essential
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in the cargo transport / logistics sector including 5 years in consultancy
- Previous employment, at senior level, in the transport and/or freight forwarding sector in Ghana and/or ECOWAS region
- Experience of cross-stakeholder engagement, such as GRA / Ministry of Transport / Trade Associations
- Experience of related international organizations, such as FIATA, IMO
- Knowledge of international transport conventions for road, sea, air, rail freight
- Experience of multi-modal transport operations and the principles of intermodal connectivity, including infrastructure, legislative, procedural aspects.
- Practical knowledge of Public-Private Partnerships
- Good report writing skills
- Ghanaian national
Preferable
- Member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport
- Other freight forwarders qualification
- Previous related consultancy roles
