2019 Tombi, Yes We Can, an explosive stage performance presented by UCC and UEW

The Department of Theatre and Film Studies, UCC in collaboration with the Department of Music and Dance, UCC and the Department of Theatre Arts, UEW present an explosive performance titled Tombi, Yes We Can.

“Tombi, Yes we can” is an adaptation of the South African “Ipi Tombi”, a fusion of dance, drama and music. This adaptation examines the dilemma of the youth in a society rapidly changing in terms of cultural dynamics. How will the love between Agyemang who has become a city dweller and Dzigbordi, his love from the village survive? Find out in this explosive performance, Tombi, Yes we can”.
