Bachelor of Laws
This is a 4-year programme that ensures a grounding in common principles of law and legal methodology. It provides students with a rigorous knowledge of the areas of substantive law necessary to undertake legal practice, within a broad liberal education. It equips students with legal skills that include drafting, preparing for court, mediation, negotiation and statutory interpretations.
Master of Laws
This is an 18-months programme that promotes critical analysis and understanding of different areas of law. It is pursued by those either holding an undergraduate academic degree; a professional law degree; or an undergraduate degree in a related field. It is a respected academic qualification recognized throughout the world and across key legal disciplines. It is a course designed to place emphasis on innovative and problem-solving teaching methods as well as international and comparative outlook.
Certificate in Paralegal Studies
This is an 8 months training that equips students with legal knowledge, practical skills, ethics and conduct to competently provide legal aid services consisting of legal education, legal advice, mediation and negotiation, orientation and referrals.
